Ultra Blue UV-C light treatment
Eliminate 99.9% of waterborne germs
Rely on the highest possible standards of water hygiene and stay safe while you hydrate.
Eliminate waterborne bacteria at the source using cutting edge UV-C technology for optimum sanitation safety. What a bright idea.

THE LAST WORD IN HYDRATION PERFECTION
The final stage of filtration in the LUQEL Water Station’s purification process is the, ultra blue UV-C light.
As your water dispenses into your LUQEL Water Bottle, every drop is irradiated with one lightening-fast burst of focused ultra blue light.
Waterborne contaminants and bacteria are completely destroyed and seconds later, clean, safe water is dispensed – before any bacteria has a chance to build back up.
ENSURING HIGH QUALITY WATER HYGIENE

Safety first
The UV-C light eliminates 99.9% of waterborne germs, bacteria and other harmful micro-organisms.

Energy saving
The ultra blue light is only in use when water is dispensed, saving energy and ensuring maximum effectiveness.

Quick as a flash
The light technology requires no warming time, instantly reaching max intensity so you’re not waiting around.

THE SCIENCE BEHIND SAFER HYDRATION
UV-C light technology is a radiation method that makes use of a specific wavelength of ultraviolet light. When the right scientific circumstances are met, it can successfully neutralise any harmful microorganisms lurking in your tap water.
UV-C LIGHT
The LUQEL Water Station utilises a short, intense burst of ultraviolet light. Its narrow wavelength, activated in realtime, carries the energy necessary to inactivate microorganisms, ensuring your water is safe to enjoy.
vs
UV-A LIGHT
Traditional water dispensers employ a UV lamp, which is broader in wavelength than its faster-working cousin. UV light lamps are left on permanently in water tanks where the water is stored and typically take time to warm up.
Because UV-C light is germicidal, it destroys microorganisms by deactivating their DNA. Bacteria, viruses, and other pathogens are rendered unable to cause harm to human because the DNA damage disrupts their ability to multiply.
